Day one

A 53 yo woman on just another day. January 20, 2017. Some say this day is the end of the world. Is it? If it wasn’t the inauguration of the 45th president of the US it would be just another day. So why is this day suddenly the end of the world? Wouldn’t it be the day Trump was born? Or maybe the day his parents met? Or the day his grandparents met? What millisecond of history marked today as the end of the world? But it’s not. The world will go on, just as it has for billions of years. We will live through today and tomorrow and so on. So let’s make it count people. Start looking at today for what it is- a new day for opportunity and choice. Another day to be kind and compassionate. Another day to make the slightest difference and the tinniest level. Because you never know what that tiny difference will do. It may make for the day that the world is saved.
